Facteurs Explicatifs De La Faible Adhésion Des Parents De Jeunes Filles Agées De 9 A 14 Ans A La Vaccination Contre Human Papilloma Virus Dans L’aire De Sante De Mada-Kolkoch.

Introduction: Vaccination is an act that aims to inoculate an organism with the ability to fight against the agents of a given disease effectively. It is also an immunization against a specific germ in a well-defined geographical area following a resurgence of cases of a given disease (WHO, 2010). The Human Butterfly Virus (HPV) is a doublestranded DNA virus with several different genotypes classified according to their DNA consequence and order of identification (Parage, 2020). This study therefore focuses on the explanatory factors for the low adherence of parents of young girls aged 9 to 14 to HPV vaccination in the Mada-Kolkoch health area (Tokomberé Health District). Materials and Methodology: Thus, we conducted a mixed cross-sectional study with analytical aims on a sample of 150 parents. The data were collected on the one hand using a questionnaire from 150 parents and on the other hand using two focus groups bringing together 06 mothers and 06 fathers of girls aged 09 to 14 years. The quantitative data were analyzed using SPSS software and the qualitative data were transcribed. Results: It emerges from this study that in the socio-demographic characteristics, out of all the respondents the majority, i.e., 66.04% of the age group between 35-44, adhere to HPV vaccination. 70.72% of housewives do not adhere to vaccination. Concerning socio-economic and cultural factors, 63.33% of the animist religions do not adhere to HPV vaccination, and 100% of the respondents who say that religion greatly influences their health decisions do not adhere to HPV vaccination. 60.31% of respondents with very low monthly income do not adhere to HPV vaccination. Concerning health factors; 68.29% of respondents who had adverse effects following the past
vaccine do not adhere to HPV vaccination. Conclusion: ultimately; we retain that sociodemographic, socioeconomic, cultural, health and environmental
characteristics are elements that influence the adherence of parents of young girls in the health area of Madakolkoch
