ABSTRACT
The overall aim of this research was to find out determine The effect blindness due to cataract among senile cataract above 40 year in beledweyne , Somalia. The population of this study was 100 respondents targeting individuals and The sample size was calculated using Slovene’s formula which is 80 subjects. The researcher used a questionnaire tool as a collecting data the selecting of this tool has been guided by the nature of data to be collected. The majority of the respondents of the study found that showed answers agree or strongly agree of the respondent that related The relation
between blindness and cataract among senile cataract above 40 year : so the majority of the respondents agreed that some causes of blindness is obtained by scientific methods. (95.7%) followed by the majority of the respondents agreed. the socioeconomic often helps to establish the guilt or innocence of possible suspects. (89.8%) followed by the majority of the respondents strongly agreed. that patterns of the blindness due to cataract, that they are possibilities the eye allergy and that
following teams mates working for a particular process may be succeed out if process gets out scored, on the average of (77.3%) followed by the majority of the respondents agreed. I suggest recommendation by study including: To general community awareness for the diseases of eye. The activities of stakeholders advocating for the human rights of blind people in this region cannot be under estimated. the government, educators, privates and grassroots stakeholders needs to put extra effort on awareness, sensitizations about blindness to the community.
