La Gestion Des Créances En Souffrance Dans Les Microfinances Au Cameroun : Cas De La MCD

The objective of this research is to analyse the management of outstanding debts in
a first category Micro Finance Institution. Using the Regression Logic Model, we
established that the factors that are at the origin of overdue debts at the MCD are:
an individual’s membership of a socio-professional category, the duration of credit
repayment, the number of times the beneficiary obtains credit, and credit charges.
On the other hand, the sex of the credit applicant and the time taken to study a
credit application are not a source of non-repayment. MCD’s top management
should take all these factors into account in order to reduce the volume of overdue
loans and remain competitive.
